What would you call a four dimensional geometrical figure with 30 triangle faces juxtaposed with 30 edges and 10 distinct vertices? Well such a figure is what is called a “Rectified 5 cell”. This uniform polychoron made up of 5 tetrahedral and 5 octrahedral geometric shapes which are regular. Discovered by Thorold Gosset in the year 1900, he referred to these as platonic solids defining them as Tetroctahedric or a Dispentachoron or an Ambopentachoron as coined by Neil Sloane and John Horton Conway. The vertex figure which is formed by the tetrahedrons and octahedrons make a uniform triangular shape of a prism.
