The Yamaha Corporation is a multinational corporation based in Japan. They produce musical instruments, motorcycles, and power sports equipments etc. It was established on October 12, 1887 with the name Nippon Gakki Company Limited. Today Yamaha is one of the world’s largest manufacturers in musical instruments, semi conductors, computer related products, and Industrial robots etc. The name of the company was changed to “The Yamaha Corporation” when they celebrated their 100th anniversary. Yamaha started to produce motor vehicles from the year 1955. Some of the motor vehicles that Yamaha produces are boats, all–terrain vehicles, personal watercraft and snowmobiles. Yamaha shipped World’s first CD recorder in the year 1989.
